Import duty and VAT calculator
Enter the CN code and the customs value of the goods. We take the third-country duty rate and the VAT rate from the ISZTAR tariff and show the result step by step: duty, VAT base, VAT, total.
How import charges are calculated
- Duty = customs value × percentage rate, or for a specific rate quantity × amount × exchange rate. A compound rate adds both parts.
- VAT base = customs value + duty. The base also includes transport costs to the first place of destination in the country, which the calculator does not know.
- VAT = base × standard rate. Reduced rates apply only to goods matching the additional code description.
- The calculator does not compute excise duty — it depends on the additional code and the goods' characteristics. If the code is subject to it, we say so under the result.
